Cathy Horyn, dé modecriticus van The New York Times, doet altijd mooie uitspraken op haar goed gelezen blog On the Runway. Nu geeft ze af op celebrity-ontwerpers.
“A friend of mine suggested that all the celebrity designers (Gwen Stefani, et al) get together with their friends and have Celebrity Fashion Week. They can get their business out of the way, knock themselves out, and then the rest of us can do ours.”
Wat een mooie quote weer mevrouw Horyn. Ik ben ook al jarenlang klaar met al die zogenaamde A-listers die denken te kunnen ontwerpen. Dat Cathy en ik niet de enige zijn, bleek ook wel uit alle kritiek die Lindsay Lohan kreeg op haar eerste collectie voor Ungaro.
