Onlangs werd bekend dat Pharrell Williams zal meewerken aan de fashion reality tv-show Styled to Rock, waar Rihanna de executive producer van is. Nu is ook model en designer Erin Wasson aangenomen om de deelnemende ontwerpers samen met Pharrell te coachen.
Het topmodel en de voormalige Victoria Secret Angel is sinds 2010 zelf aan het designen geslagen toen ze haar eigen sieradenlijn Low Luv lanceerde. Daarnaast heeft ze in 2011 samen met het Franse label Zadig & Voltaire een ready-to-wear collectie ontworpen.
Salaam Coleman Smith, hoofd van Style Media zegt over Erin Wasson als nieuwe aanwinst in de show: "We could not have asked for a better addition to our team. As a leading model and mainstay in the fashion industry, Erin's unapologetic approach to fashion and free-spirited style will give the 'Styled to Rock' designers invaluable insight. With Rihanna as executive producer and Pharrell and Erin as mentors, our designers will gain incredible experience while also being challenged in new ways as they compete to earn the title of America's next trendsetting designer."
De show met de grote namen zal later dit jaar op de Amerikaanse televisie te zien zijn.
