Amsterdam - En Pluche is een bar waar streetfood, een soort uitgebreide tapas, wordt geserveerd, kleine snacks gebaseerd op de wereldkeuken van nu, met een Aziatische knipoog. De bar is een essentieel onderdeel van "pluche", 5½ meter en slingert zich in een gebogen lijn als een slang tussen de pluche clubs van Josef Hoffmann (Wenen, 1920) door. Cees Dam, architect, heeft op een subtiele wijze de romantiek van toen in het heden geplaatst. Geen trutterigheid dus. De sfeer is intiem, warm en rustig, er is geen house, maar jazzy muziek, een goed gesprek is goed mogelijk. Een gekoeld (een primeur) fornuis, voorzien van 2 inductie woks, een inductiekookveld en bakplaat is in de bar geplaatst, je kunt je eigen schotel samenstellen bv. zittend of hangend aan de bar. Klassieke cocktails, long drinks, bijzondere en onbekende wijnen speciaal uitgezocht als begeleider van deze toch wat stoute en geparfumeerde keuken vormen verder de peilers van deze fashionable hot-place for good-looking people.
