Twee jaar geleden kwam het nieuws naar buiten dat Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson verloofd was met zijn vriendin FKA Twigs. Maar vorig jaar april werd de bruiloft uiteindelijk toch gecancled. Dit omdat het koppel te vaak en teveel ruzie met elkaar zou maken.
Hoewel Robert Pattinson en FKA Twigs dus niet met elkaar in het huwelijksbootje zijn gestapt werden de twee love birds nog wel op de rode loper gespot. Ook werd het koppel regelmatig gezien terwijl ze genoten van romantische dates samen. In een interview van The Howard Stern Show werd Robert Pattinson aan de tand gevoeld.
Zo werd de Twilight acteur gevraagd of hij nog steeds verloofd was, waarop RPatz een nogal vaag antwoord gaf: “Yeah, kind of.” Robert Pattinson en FKA Twigs zijn behoorlijk privé wanneer het op hun realitie aankomt. Het schijnt dat Robert Pattinson dankzij zijn rol in Twilight nogal behoorlijk rare fans achter zich aan heeft.
"For whatever reason with Twilight, I don't know whether it's a specific thing with the audience, but there's like a crack troop of crazies who think every single decision you're making is either creating some kind of conspiracy. And to protect it, I want to create a big boundary between it, but then that makes it difficult for your actual relationship."
